I’ve never read anything by Brian McLaren, and I get the feeling I’d disagree with him about a fair number of things, but this interview made me like him. I get the impression that the guy has to put up with a lot of b.s. from self-styled heresy-hunters.

A Thinking Reed 
I have always loved Brian McLaren. He doesn’t fit neatly into pre-existing categories like “liberal” or “conservative,” so some people get frustrated with him. This quality doesn’t frustrate me, it deepens my appreciation of him.
